TrustArc unveils agentic AI in Arc Intelligence with MCP support to automate privacy workflows

TrustArc has launched an upgraded version of Arc Intelligence, its AI-powered privacy compliance platform. The system now includes agentic AI capabilities that can execute tasks on behalf of users through conversational commands, rather than simply providing guidance. The platform supports the Model Context Protocol, allowing it to integrate with existing business systems like Salesforce and Atlassian, and work within AI assistants such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT. New features include AI-powered drafting, intelligent baseline suggestions, and cross-jurisdiction law comparisons. The upgrade addresses resource constraints in privacy teams. According to ISACA, the median privacy team lost nearly half its headcount in one year, whilst 80% of privacy professionals report expanded responsibilities. Cisco research found that whilst 90% of organisations say privacy programmes have expanded due to AI, 72% of privacy teams lack governance resources. TrustArc will host a webinar on 22 October discussing the platform's capabilities.
