Requirements

  • An active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate license is required; additional active state licenses are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing primary care to adults.
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality primary care.
  • Ability to deliver primarily asynchronous care and make thoughtful clinical decisions through messaging, escalating to synchronous care when appropriate.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude, curiosity, and an innovation-minded approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered primary care across asynchronous and synchronous modalities, using clinical judgment to triage, manage, and refer patients appropriately.
  • Build strong, longitudinal patient relationships that drive sustained engagement and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload of at least 20 asynchronous cases per day while maintaining clinical standards.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically while adhering to and strengthening team communication norms.
  • Master Sana’s clinical platforms, artificial intelligence-assisted workflows, and tools; independently troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
  • Contribute proactively to clinical protocols, workflows, or operations that enhance patient experience, quality, or efficiency.
  • Collaborate across clinical, product, and operations teams.
  • Use data and clinical insight to support proactive panel management, close care gaps, and improve outcomes.
