Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire Young Adult Ministry by leading the ministry team to conduct every aspect of Young Adult Night, LifeGroup discipleship, events, conferences, retreats, weekend trips, and mission trips.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead the annual on-campus fall conference and annual out-of-town spring retreat.
  • Meet regularly with Young Adult leadership to plan and coordinate tasks, set goals, implement meetings and events, and provide training.
  • Plan the message series schedule for Young Adult Night and participate in the speaking rotation.
  • Participate in event leadership, including planning, scheduling, purchasing, and necessary preparation.
  • Develop discipleship relationships with young adults, leading them to engage more deeply with Christ, commit more significantly to the church, and bring the gospel to unbelievers.
  • Meet biweekly with the Pastor of Family Ministries to discuss ministry activities, set goals, evaluate activities, and identify ways to improve and grow the ministry.
  • Work a part-time schedule of 25-30 hours per week.
  • Obtain approval from the Pastor of Family Ministries for vacations, sick days, and personal days.
  • Participate in an annual ministry review with the Pastor of Family Ministries.
