Minibar Attendant

Job Description

The Minibar Attendant is expected to provide efficient, discreet and accurate Minibar service to guest rooms while maintaining Fairmont luxury standards and maximizing guest satisfaction. The role supports the delivery of a seamless guest experience by maintaining high levels of service, and ensuring compliance with Fairmont policies, procedures, and brand standards while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Reporting to the Minibar In-Charge, Food & Beverage responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all the Colleagues of Fairmont Dubai.
• Follow all departmental policies, procedures and set service standards
• Replenish guest room minibars according to daily schedules.
• Check expiry dates, product presentation and cleanliness of minibar equipment.
• Record minibar consumption accurately and submit charges promptly.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged minibar equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of minibar storage and pantry areas.
• Collect and organize stock from the storeroom following FIFO procedures.
• Report stock shortages or discrepancies to the Minibar In Charge.
• Respect guest privacy and follow hotel security procedures when entering rooms.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Provide courteous service when interacting with guests.
• Carry out any miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as requested by your Manager pertaining to total quality service delivered.
• Ensure full compliance of JDP & Corporate F&B Standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Preferred previous Minibar experience of minimum one years in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent F&B knowledge / Wine, Spirits and liqueurs & Cigars. Wine and Spirits certificates are an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
• Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and POS systems.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
