PMO Administrator
About the job
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as a project administrator or coordinator on IT projects, preferably application development projects.
- Familiarity with project management methodology.
- Knowledge of project and program status tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of project financial management and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Organize monthly project review meetings with project manager teams, including booking meeting rooms and taking meeting minutes.
- Assist and advise project managers on project documentation, processes, reporting, and use of the PPM tool.
- Assist project managers in updating project financials and statuses for monthly project status report submissions.
- Track and submit accruals, and follow up with project managers for supporting documents for accrual submissions.
- Submit management reports for major projects and programs, verifying that submitted information is accurate and updated correctly.
- Update the quality checklist twice a month.
- Monitor the PMO team group mailbox and respond to messages in a timely manner.
- Track and monitor project KPIs, ensure the department meets KPIs set by PMC and Finance, and ensure timely corrective actions are taken when necessary.
- Work with PMC on project and program tracking and management reporting.
- Collate IT initiative budget submissions for the department and review their completeness during the yearly budget exercise.
- Experience with application development projects.
