About the company

Bolt Graphics designs GPUs for rendering, high-performance computing, and gaming, aimed at professional workloads like visual effects, architecture visualization, scientific simulation, and render farms. Its Zeus architecture, announced in 2025, emphasizes hardware-accelerated path tracing and FP64 compute, rather than AI upscaling. The design includes a RISC-V processor, expandable DDR5 memory on PCIe cards and servers, built-in high-speed Ethernet for direct GPU-to-GPU connections, and dedicated acceleration for electromagnetic wave simulation, with plans for PCIe card, server, and cloud form factors. The company aims to deliver higher performance per watt for professional workloads and scalable deployments beyond traditional consumer GPUs.
