Laborer / Machine Operator
About the job
- Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including 8–12+ hour shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for prolonged periods; reach overhead and work with arms extended; climb ladders and work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground; and work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
- Ability to follow instructions, adhere to safety standards and company policies, and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and other required assessments.
- Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Operate and maintain industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist in setting up, operating, and monitoring machines during production runs.
- Perform general labor tasks, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning, and organizing the work area.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment.
