Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiology.
  • New York State license in Radiologic Technology and license to inject contrast.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
  • Advanced modality certification in CT within one year of hire.
  • At least one year of experience.
Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment and cover CT and X-ray services.
  • Apply knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and digital data transfer processes under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor.
  • Work full-time from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with coverage rotating every other weekend.
