Glacier Bancorp net interest income surges 33% to $276M despite revenue miss

Glacier Bancorp reported second-quarter results that met earnings expectations but fell slightly short on revenue. The company posted revenue of $321.1 million against analyst estimates of $322.4 million, whilst adjusted earnings per share matched forecasts at $0.76. Net interest income rose 33% year-on-year to $276 million, driven by expanding margins and broad-based loan growth across core markets. Management indicated net interest margins could exceed 4% in early fourth quarter. During the earnings call, analysts focused on deposit cost outlook, loan growth sustainability, and competitive pressures.
