Requirements
  • Be a qualified accountant, such as ACA or an equivalent qualification, with 5 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate technical accounting knowledge in the current area of expertise.
  • Have experience preparing audited financial statements under United States generally accepted accounting principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Have a track record of improving processes and adding value to clients and stakeholders.
  • Have knowledge of FAS 133, available-for-sale accounting, and held-to-maturity accounting, which is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4 to 6 members.
  • Manage treasury entity profit and loss reporting, including the flagship Europe, Middle East and Africa and International entities.
  • Manage the Funds Transfer Pricing methodology to ensure accurate funding and liquidity costs are charged to the businesses.
  • Manage the team that prepares the daily profit and loss account for the Treasury Execution Services desk, including assessing revenue generated in the context of market movements and risk held, and reconciling front-office systems with the sub-ledger and the firm's general ledger.
  • Review profit and loss attribution and commentary for the bank's trading, investing, and new-issuance businesses.
  • Manage complex treasury hedge-accounting frameworks, including fair-value and cash-flow hedge accounting.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to improve process flows and analysis, and proactively seek opportunities to improve workflows.
  • Review trading activity to help assess portfolio valuation and highlight unusual or material items to management.
  • Conduct monthly price-verification reviews and challenge trader inputs into inventory pricing, including incremental assessment of less-observable inputs.
  • Prepare, analyze, review, and present daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to senior management, directors, and other key stakeholders under United States generally accepted accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, resolve complex technical accounting issues and disclosure requirements, and liaise with external auditors, predominantly under International Financial Reporting Standards and United States generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Own and become the subject-matter expert for secured-funding tax and reporting requirements.
  • Understand the impact of regulatory developments and proactively identify solutions, such as solutions related to the Net Stable Funding Ratio.
  • Drive projects independently to automate end-to-end reporting.
  • Coordinate with Funding and Product Control, Global Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Risk, Engineering, and Tax teams across the firm and globally.
  • Seek opportunities to improve workflows, technology, and the integrity of reporting information.

GoodLeap has closed a $389 million securitisation, its 26th overall and sixth backed solely by home improvement loans. The transaction, GoodLeap Home Improvement Solutions Trust 2026-2, was sponsored by Bank of America and is backed by $434 million in principal balance of GoodLeap-originated loans. The securitisation received ratings from Kroll Bond Rating Agency and Fitch Ratings. Joint bookrunners included Goldman Sachs, CIBC World Markets, and Citigroup Global Markets. GoodLeap provides financing and software for sustainable home solutions including solar panels, batteries, and energy-efficient HVAC systems. Since 2018, the company has facilitated more than $38 billion in financing, serving over 1.7 million homeowners. Goldman Sachs has committed up to an additional £500m to Quantum Development Finance, potentially expanding the specialist lender's funding capacity to £700m.
