Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling is required.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work autonomously, and provide store-level leadership is required.
  • Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and valid automobile insurance are required.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations, is required.
  • The employee must work assigned shifts as scheduled.
Responsibilities
  • Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting product and service options that meet their needs.
  • Interact with customers using active listening skills to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the District Director of Operations and Corporate Office.
  • Respond professionally and accurately to customer questions, applications, requests, sales, courtesy calls, and collection calls in accordance with regulations and procedures.
  • Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, including managing a cash drawer, counting deposits, moving cash from the secure safe to the cash drawer, and completing bank deposits or pickups when required.
  • Balance batch receipts with store sales reports at the end of the day and help resolve overages and shortages.
  • Perform customer verifications to validate presented information.
  • Process transactions accurately and according to company policy, including loans, check cashing, and NetSpend.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Complete compliance training and the quarterly I Agree process on time.
  • Coordinate store operations, development, and training needed to achieve metric targets.
  • Maintain the store staff schedule and help cover other stores within the district.
  • Support store staff in delivering excellent customer service and embodying the sales culture.
  • Assist the District Director of Operations with recruiting, selecting, and onboarding Assistant Store Managers in the district.
  • Serve as the on-site lead for one or more Assistant Store Managers when assigned.
  • Travel to all stores within the assigned district using a personal vehicle and travel to neighboring districts when requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
