Requirements
  • You will be graduated from a top business or engineering school (or equivalent) and are currently looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship.
  • You have internship experience working in a startup/scaleup in the commercial field or as a founder associate, in big tech companies or in the consulting/finance industry.
  • You are fluent French speaker, but also at ease in English both written and spoken.
  • You are an entrepreneurial mindset: you love to create things from scratch, love challenges, are a true problem-solver, and might even think of launching your own company someday.
  • You are very comfortable in spoken and written formats. You love communicating and building long-lasting relationships with your stakeholders.
  • You are very efficient and fond of productivity tools and able to deliver on time on projects with many stakeholders.
  • You know that the devil is in the details and you always spot issues.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the growth of Gift Cards in the US: Optimize operations, enhance monitoring post-launch, leverage user insights to adapt our strategy, and build strong partnerships with US gift card providers to scale the business relationships with US gift card providers.
  • Data analysis: Ensure close monitoring of the gift card business and analyze the performances closely with the different teams.
  • Brands management: Manage relationships with providers and brands, to provide the best possible rates to our users, on all the merchants we can.
  • Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to support the growth of the new gift cards business line (newsletters, CRM rules, etc.)
  • Operations: Ensure we have all the right processes in place to scale this business line, both to provide the best experience to our users and to ensure we have the right internal monitoring processes.
  • Product: Work with the Product team to ensure we are prioritizing correctly in regards to the Gift Cards feature, and perform user interviews to understand their behavior and gather feedback.
  • Care: Work with the Care team to anticipate users’ requests on this topic, and collect feedback from users

Joko operates a mobile shopping app that gives users cashback, coupons, and discounts from a wide range of retailers. It earns commissions through affiliate marketing when users make purchases via the app. The app is free for users and automatically calculates the carbon footprint of each transaction, encouraging more conscious consumption. How it works: users browse partners in the app, activate deals, and make purchases through affiliate links to get rewards; the platform tracks sales and credits cashback automatically to the user’s account. How it is different: it combines traditional cashback and coupon offers with real-time carbon footprint insights for each purchase, offering environmental visibility alongside savings, within a broad consumer market.
