Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks for web applications and services.
  • Build and execute automated test suites using Java and Playwright.
  • Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and quality engineering best practices across the SDLC.
  • Develop API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Leverage Spring and Spring Boot to support test harnesses, mock services, and backend validation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to understand business requirements and define comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
  • Ensure quality gates, test reports, and automation metrics are implemented and maintained.
  • Review code, test scripts, and automation design for quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Mentor junior QA/SDET team members and promote automation and quality-first engineering practices.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
