Junior Material Planning Engineer

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- One to two years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling, tracking, and basic analysis is required.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD is required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required.
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams is required.
- Experience in the marine or yacht industry is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a structured, follow-up-driven approach are required.
- Plan and manage material requirements based on project schedules and engineering deliverables.
- Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
- Analyze and compare supplier quotations in coordination with engineering and procurement teams.
- Raise and submit purchase requests (PRs) in alignment with project needs.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and identify potential delays.
- Maintain structured documentation of bills of materials (BOMs), RFQs, purchase orders (POs), and supplier communications.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight shortages or inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with Systems, Mechanical, and Production teams to ensure material alignment.
- Support the resolution of supply chain issues, delays, and discrepancies.
- Contribute to improving internal processes related to material planning and tracking.
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach and problem-solving capabilities.
- A team-oriented approach focused on cross-department collaboration.
