Requirements
  • Must be proficient in carpentry, including metal or wood stud partition framing, basic cabinetry and countertop installation, and door and window installation.
  • Must be proficient in interior and exterior painting.
  • Must be proficient in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
  • Must have basic knowledge of plumbing tasks, including replacement or installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines; licensed plumbers are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have basic knowledge of electrical tasks, including replacement or installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets, basic data connections, and diagnosing minor electrical problems; licensed electricians are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have basic computer skills and follow OSHA requirements.
  • Must be able to communicate with customers and build relationships.
  • Must document repairs in detail, including measurements, pictures, repair recommendations, and quotes.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
  • Must supply basic construction hand tools.
  • Must have OSHA 10-hour training or complete it within three months of employment; the employer pays for completion.
