Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic math skills are required to perform batch calculations.
- Must be able to visually detect defective vials.
- Must be able to maintain visual inspection qualification requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a pharmaceutical or other Good Manufacturing Practice-regulated environment is required.
- Good documentation and communication skills and strong attention to detail are required.
- Strong mechanical skills and learning agility are required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect products for various defects.
- Document work accurately and contemporaneously on batch records and protocols.
- Set up and operate inspection equipment.
- Perform line clearance activities.
- Calculate inspection results and reconcile batches.
- Minimize production downtime through advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Assist Maintenance personnel with preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
- Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, managers, and clients in a professional manner.
- Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other applicable instructions.
- Work overtime when required.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sterile packaging, clinical trial packaging, or related manufacturing experience is preferred.
