Requirements
- A degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical-scientific discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience managing Manufacturing Execution System projects or information technology/operational technology solutions in manufacturing is required.
- Project management certifications such as Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, or Agile are required.
- Experience managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics, is required.
- Experience gathering requirements and designing Manufacturing Execution System solutions is required.
- Familiarity with information technology/operational technology architectures and integration with enterprise resource planning, product lifecycle management, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems is required.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are required.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach are required.
- Fluent English is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage Manufacturing Execution System projects throughout the full lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and go-live, while ensuring delivery timelines, costs, and quality.
- Interact with business and information technology stakeholders to understand client needs and translate them into effective application solutions.
- Lead multifunctional project teams, including functional consultants, developers, and system integrators, by planning activities and monitoring progress.
- Oversee the definition of Manufacturing Execution System architectures and ensure consistency with the client's information technology and operational technology ecosystem.
- Serve as the reference point for clients and partners, maintaining continuous alignment and managing expectations.
- Ensure the quality of implemented solutions and compliance with project standards.
- Support clients in adopting Manufacturing Execution System solutions by coordinating training and change-management activities.
- Review client-supplier contracts and agreements.
- Support presales activities by contributing to technical proposals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
- Coordinate digital-transformation programs distributed across multiple manufacturing plants, including international environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Dassault Apriso, AVEVA Wonderware, and Rockwell Plex.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95 and MESA.
- Experience with multi-country or multi-plant projects.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL languages.
- Background in Industry 4.0 and digital-transformation contexts.
