About the job

Requirements
  • Significant hands-on experience in AI, robotics, or autonomous systems, including practical experience with classical robotics and learning-based methods.
  • A strong track record of architecting and deploying AI or robotics systems that operate reliably in production.
  • Experience owning the performance of a fielded system, including feeding field interventions and data back into engineering improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead and grow a technical team while remaining personally involved in architecture and difficult technical problems.
  • Comfort operating across research, engineering, deployment, and field operations.
  • Ability to turn complex technical challenges into deployable, robust solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end performance of intelligent robotic capabilities in production, including perception, autonomy, manipulation, robustness, and reliability.
  • Define and drive the technical architecture, combining classical robotics methods with learning-based approaches.
  • Stay hands-on across design, implementation, and debugging.
  • Own field interventions by finding root causes of field failures and feeding incidents and data back into deployed systems and algorithms.
  • Report directly to the CTO and contribute to technical direction and cross-functional engineering decisions.
  • Grow and structure the team as scope expands, setting a high hiring bar for technical depth and hands-on field pragmatism.
  • Bridge early-stage experimentation and reliable real-world operation.
  • Foster close collaboration between AI development, robotics engineering, and field operations.

About the company

Marso Robotics builds autonomous robots for logistics, focusing on brownfield warehouses where traditional automation is hard to implement. Its main product is an AI companion robot that can be deployed in under 24 hours without needing integration with a client’s WMS. The robot uses embodied AI with transformer-based action models, reinforcement learning-derived behaviors, and teleoperation for fallback. It runs vision-language-action models on edge hardware to navigate dynamic warehouse environments with occlusions and changing layouts. The company targets logistics operators and warehouse teams (B2B) and offers robotics-as-a-service, backed by experienced leadership and startup accelerators. Unlike systems requiring deep WMS integration, Marso focuses on rapid deployment and compatibility with existing workflows to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.

What believers are saying

  • June 2026 Logistique Seine Normandie selected Marso for experimentation with supply-chain operators.
  • The August 2026 website and LinkedIn show active hiring, 11-50 employees, and product momentum.
  • June 2026 GTM help from Remy Malchirand strengthens commercialization ahead of first large contracts.

What critics are saying

  • Marso lists no funding on Prospeo, yet depends on capital to industrialize deployments.
  • Its 2026 story still centers on pilots and collaborations, not disclosed revenue or fleet scale.
  • Warehouse robotics incumbents like Exotec and Geek+ can outspend Marso; failed reliability kills enterprise trust.

What makes Marso Robotics unique

  • Founded 2025, Marso targets brownfield warehouses with <24-hour deployment and no WMS integration.
  • Its stack blends transformer action models, reinforcement learning, and teleoperation fallback on edge hardware.
  • Founders previously scaled robotics at Exotec, Parrot, and Decathlon, adding rare execution credibility.
