Requirements
  • A degree in occupational therapy is required.
  • Membership in the professional order of occupational therapists of Quebec is required.
  • Demonstrated professional experience as an occupational therapist is required.
  • A driver's license and a vehicle are required.
  • Listening and communication abilities, organization, and autonomy are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs regarding independence and rehabilitation.
  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to patients' individual needs.
  • Advise patients and their families on adaptations needed to improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to optimize care and treatment.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adapt programs based on their progress.
  • Maintain administrative records of interventions and write rehabilitation assessments.
