Rhombus is looking for an API Integrations Engineer who will play a critical role at Rhombus focusing on integrating with new partners, expanding the Rhombus API, and working on custom integrations with customers. This position will be heavily focused on the frontend web application, so you must be comfortable working with React and TypeScript. You must also be comfortable connecting to API endpoints, parsing through data on the frontend and creating React components.

What You’ll Do:

Pull data from REST APIs and parse it on the frontend into React components
Integrate other products directly into the Rhombus platform
Implement custom features for partners and customers
Troubleshoot frontend local state and global state issues as they arise

What We’re Looking For:

BS or equivalent in Computer Science with a strong technical generalist and coding background.
Has at least 1year of production-level software developer experience with fluency in at least 2 programming languages.
Can read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages
Has experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with React and TypeScript
A great verbal and written communicator, strong presentation skills, comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Be a self-starter, comfortable making important decisions with limited oversight

This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.

Compensation

Base Salary: $80,000-$90,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate’s primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
