About the company

RMS is an international microscopical society that connects scientists and professionals worldwide to advance science and microscopy. It achieves this through publications (Journal of Microscopy, infocus, efocus, Handbook Series) and a busy program of meetings, conferences, and courses, including the Microscience Microscopy Congress; members gain access to journals and training resources. It distinguishes itself by combining scholarly publishing, professional development, and science outreach within a charitable international framework, rather than focusing on a single activity. Its goal is to broaden understanding of science and microscopy, advance scientific careers, and foster collaboration across the global microscopy community.
