Requirements
- Have a college degree in engineering, construction management, geology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Have at least five years of experience as a Program Manager on Environmental Remediation Services.
- Have at least ten years of project management experience.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Have experience with cost-reimbursement projects or programs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, and Adobe.
- Obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the contract work, including applicable environmental, building, and discharge permits; Nuclear Regulatory Commission or state licenses for radiation activities; and Department of Transportation permits for transporting Munitions and Explosives of Concern and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste on public highways.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Department of Defense Technical Bulletin TB 700-2 when transporting Munitions and Explosives of Concern.
- Be a United States citizen; the employer states that it does not support H-1B or TN visa sponsorship.
- Meet applicable background-check and drug-testing requirements when required for the position.
- Establish, manage, pursue, and achieve annual goals and objectives documented for the firm's eight global competencies, and support business development and other efforts on behalf of the company.
- Understand and be proficient with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office; the ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, proficient with Adobe Acrobat and data analytic tools, and able to learn other tools as needed.
- Fulfill regulatory and mandatory training requirements applicable to assigned duties or position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of the engagement team as key management personnel and oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and effective resource management.
- Serve as the single point of contact for coordinating program issues with the client.
- Manage the overall contract, including cost, schedule, and technical quality.
- Apply knowledge of the full range of Environmental Remediation Services activities, from investigations, studies, and designs to remediation, short-term operations, and maintenance, as well as the activities identified in the contract.
- Take immediate corrective action when performance is unacceptable to the client.
- Oversee the development and implementation of record-keeping, administrative, and quality-control programs.
- Provide the client Program Manager with an annual report detailing subcontracting executed under awarded delivery orders.
- Ensure work products are thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
- Perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
- Conduct work in accordance with high standards of ethical and business conduct.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification is preferred; Professional Licensure: PMP (Project Management Professional) is recommended.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Use leadership, strategic planning, risk management, and budgeting skills.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and data analytic tools is also desired.
