Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within a growth or product-focused environment.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and automation, with experience using SQL, Python, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear presentation of findings.
  • The ability to draw clear business recommendations from ambiguous data.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop reporting for key growth metrics, analyzing data across various dimensions such as geographies, membership types, and acquisition sources to provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with the Growth Product team to understand customer behaviors, identify trends, and measure and refine growth strategies.
  • Validate and integrate data from various sources into WHOOP systems to create a comprehensive view of growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting solutions to enhance data accessibility and efficiency for the Growth Product team.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, growth product managers, and management to optimize data flows and support growth initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions and growth planning based on thorough analysis.

This data is used to give personalized recommendations on daily exertion, sleep needs, and overall readiness for physical activity, helping users enhance their performance and reduce injury risks. The subscription model includes the device and access to a community-focused app, which encourages user engagement through teams and challenges. WHOOP's goal is to optimize health and performance for a diverse range of users, from fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes.
