  • A bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in product, service, or program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for emerging Application Intelligence experiences and capabilities.

  • Own requirements, user journeys, and end-to-end experiences spanning application and process discovery, analysis, insights, recommendations, and agentic actions.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and research to rapidly prototype and validate new experiences with customers before scaling investment.
  • Define success metrics, experimentation plans, and proof points that determine whether to scale, iterate, or stop an investment.
  • Determine how business data, application context, process signals, enterprise context, and agent capabilities come together across Microsoft products and platforms.
  • Make product and platform boundary decisions that create reusable intelligence capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
  • Influence roadmaps and dependencies across Business Applications, Work IQ, Agent 365, and partner teams to deliver coherent end-to-end customer outcomes.
  • Develop a point of view on how Application Intelligence changes business applications and enables AI agents to understand and improve how organizations operate.

Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience in product, service, or program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market, such as growing the customer base, expanding customer usage, or avoiding customer churn.
  • At least 6 years of experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience, such as through competitive disruption or replacing an established competing product.
  • At least 4 years of experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market, including design, addressing product-market fit, and launch of an internal tool or framework.
  • Experience defining a new product area from ambiguous customer needs, testing hypotheses through prototypes or pilots, and using evidence to scale, redirect, or stop an investment.
  • Experience defining and launching complex enterprise software, platform, or AI-powered products.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, business processes, data platforms, developer platforms, or related technologies.
  • Experience defining products that span data, applications, workflows, and AI or agent experiences.
  • Experience sufficient to partner closely with engineering on enterprise data, integration, extensibility, AI agents, and application architecture.
  • Technical depth sufficient to make difficult product and platform-boundary decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and distributed teams across organizational boundaries.
  • Customer instincts and experience using qualitative and quantitative evidence to make product investment and prioritization decisions.

Microsoft, Western Digital and Lam Research top quality stock picks as AI capex hits $828B

AI heavyweights are spending an estimated $828 billion on chips, data centres and related infrastructure this year. Simply Wall St says investors may favour firms with high return on equity and solid balance sheets as that spending draws scrutiny. Its quality screen highlights three stocks: Microsoft, Western Digital and Lam Research. Microsoft spent $37.5 billion on capital expenditure last quarter, funded by its cloud business. Western Digital, now focused on high-capacity hard drives, has a market value of about $148 billion. Its hard disk drive segment brings in about $14.5 billion in revenue. Lam Research has a market value of roughly $317.8 billion. Its wafer-processing equipment and services generate about $26.1 billion in revenue. The screen found 21 more companies with similar profiles.

Microsoft, Adobe and Intuit face Fed rate test as US CPI looms on November 10

Large-cap growth stocks could swing with interest rate expectations when the US October consumer price index (CPI) report arrives on November 10, just weeks before the December Federal Reserve meeting. These stocks rely heavily on long-term cash flow assumptions, which makes them sensitive to rate changes. Simply Wall St highlights three: Adobe, Microsoft, and Intuit. Adobe has a market value near $97.4 billion, with about $7.1 billion in revenue from EMEA and $3.6 billion from APAC. Intuit's market value is near $91.2 billion, with $12.9 billion from Global Business Solutions and $8.6 billion from its Consumer arm. Microsoft spent $37.5 billion in a quarter as Azure demand grows 39% a year. The US Federal Trade Commission is investigating its licensing terms.

Microsoft revenue climbs 19% to $92.3B as Azure beats forecast, but free cash flow falls 27%

Microsoft reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of $92.3 billion on October 28, up 19% year over year. Adjusted earnings per share grew 18%, and the stock barely moved, trading near $530. Azure, its cloud platform, grew 48%, beating the company's forecast of 44% to 45%. Chief financial officer Amy Hood said customer demand "continues to exceed available supply." Spending weighed on cash flow. Capital expenditures rose to $45.2 billion from $34.9 billion a year earlier, while free cash flow fell about 27% to $18.6 billion. Microsoft Cloud's gross margin slipped to 66% from 68%. For the second quarter, Microsoft expects revenue of $96 billion to $97.1 billion and Azure growth of 49% to 50%. Capital expenditures should pass $50 billion.

Microsoft's $34B quarterly chip-heavy spending gives Nvidia shareholders fresh reason for optimism

Microsoft's latest results suggest AI spending is still flowing to chipmakers, a boost for Nvidia shareholders. Nvidia shares are up about 13% in 2026, after climbing more than 1,200% over three years. Microsoft reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of $92.3 billion, up 19%, with Azure growing 48%. About three-quarters of its $45.2 billion in quarterly capex went to short-lived assets such as CPUs, GPUs, and networking gear. The company expects second-quarter capex above $50 billion and about $170 billion in calendar-year spending. Chief financial officer Amy Hood said, "We still have demand that exceeds supply." Nvidia's data centre business made up about 92% of its $96.2 billion in quarterly revenue, so it depends heavily on big buyers. Risks include rising debt among those customers.

Microsoft beats Q3 estimates with $92.28B revenue as analysts probe AI margins and billing

Microsoft beat Wall Street expectations in its third quarter, with revenue of $92.28 billion against analyst estimates of $90.64 billion. Earnings per share were $4.92, versus estimates of $4.72. Management credited strong adoption of its cloud and AI products, particularly Copilot and Foundry. Chief executive officer Satya Nadella said "automated tasks have nearly doubled since July." Gross margin fell to 67.8% from 69% a year earlier, while operating margin held at 49.8%. On the earnings call, analysts asked about long-term returns, Azure growth, enterprise AI workloads, and usage-based billing. Nadella said adoption of that billing model will be faster in developer tools than in enterprise productivity software. Microsoft shares trade at $522.64, down from $529.85 before the results.
