Assured and PwC Consulting team up on supply chain risk.

Assured and PwC Consulting team up on supply chain risk. Last updated: September 28, 2026 9:22 am Assured Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has begun collaborating with PwC Consulting LLC to strengthen supply chain security. Through this collaboration, ITBusinessToday will combine Assured's expertise in third-party evaluation platforms - specifically, its "Assured Cloud Evaluation" for cloud services and its "Assured Corporate Evaluation" for client companies - with PwC Consulting's consulting expertise in cybersecurity, governance, and risk management, to strongly support companies in enhancing their supply chain security measures. In recent years, with the increasing collaboration with diverse business partners and the growing use of cloud services, the importance of security management throughout the entire supply chain has become even greater. Preparing for incidents originating not only within one's own company but also from business partners and the cloud services used has become a critical management issue for many companies, regardless of industry or size. Furthermore, with the advancement of AI technology, attackers' vulnerability detection and attack methods are becoming more sophisticated and faster, making it difficult to keep up with and continuously monitor evolving risks through traditional, static, document-based investigations. In addition, the reliance on individual expertise in evaluation quality and the increasing workload are also challenges, creating a need for a highly effective governance mechanism that continuously visualizes and manages risks in line with reality. Against this backdrop, Assured and PwC Consulting have begun a comprehensive collaboration, from concept formulation to practical operation and future service development, with the aim of solving challenges in corporate security assessments and improving the overall security level of the market.
