Requirements
  • Graduating with a Master’s degree(or Doctorate or Postdoc) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnologies or related field

Responsibilities
  • Develop cutting-edge processes used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips
  • Design hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics, and compile reports
  • Perform hardware characterization on advanced systems and provide guidance to design engineering authority
  • Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analysis, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues
  • Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, and technical reports
  • Interact with customers to resolve difficult process engineering issues, including oral presentations
  • Execute problem-solving learning cycle, measure film properties, and interpret data
  • Identify, select, and work with vendors and suppliers
  • Implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation
