Familiarity with security equipment, including two-way radios, surveillance systems, magnetometers, and metal detectors.

Responsibilities
Oversee event security operations and staff for assigned events, from planning through post-event wrap-up.
Own staffing and scheduling for event security personnel, ensuring proper coverage for every shift and event.
Recruit, hire, and train event security officers and supervisors; conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary matters as needed.
Supervise and direct security staff on-site, monitoring conduct and performance throughout each event.
Conduct pre-event briefings covering post assignments, emergency procedures, and client expectations.
Develop and lead training sessions to keep staff current on safety, screening, and emergency-response procedures.
Manage the uniform and equipment room, including issuance, inventory, and readiness of gear for deployment.
Oversee access control, credentialing, and restricted-area enforcement at events.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, venue management, and outside agencies, including police, EMS, and fire, during events.
Ensure accurate incident reports, logs, and shift summaries are completed for every event.
Follow and enforce standard operating procedures and protocols across the event security team.
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in event management, security, or a related field is preferred.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification is preferred.

In this role, you will oversee event security officers from staffing through deployment, direct training and readiness, and serve as the on-the-ground leader ensuring every event runs safely, professionally, and in line with client expectations.
