Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Two to three years of practical experience in administrative roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience in administrative roles, particularly within project-oriented environments.
  • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports or journals.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
  • Ability to write scopes of work, budget estimates, schedules, reports of findings, proposals, general correspondence, and other technical documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, clients, public groups, and boards of directors.
  • Clear vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain focused and alert during site inspections, client interactions, and preparation of written reports.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in both written and spoken Spanish and English in the specialized field of Transportation Engineering.
  • High-level analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • United States citizenship.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate the efficient operation of the project team.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including Contractor staff and equipment.
  • Maintain and organize the project filing system.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and other team members to support the project's success.
  • Assist in preparing project materials and reports and ensure their timely delivery and compliance with guidelines.
  • Organize meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and oversee project administration tasks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional business tools as necessary.
