Key Responsibilitines:

Run/Test/Experiment with current API documentation with a fresh perspective. You have the autonomy to change anything that doesn’t seem right, or that could improve the documentation
Test API SDKs by utilizing extensive API documentation. Enhance and optimize existing Python SDKs, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will have complete autonomy to add new and creative SDKs as an additional challenge.
If Python is not your preferred language, create similar SDKs in other programming languages of your choice.
Collaborate with the development team to design, code, test, and debug software solutions.
As an added challenge:

Implement extensive testing strategies to ensure the robustness and quality of software products.
Thoroughly document software components, user guides, and API integrations.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in software development and data science.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Python programming language.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and their usage in software development.
Bonus: Basic understanding of the GraphQL framework.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be local to Santa Clara, California and be able to work in-office.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Python and its various common libraries.
Some experience with Postman.
Ability to read and understand extensive API documentation.
Knowledge of software testing and debugging tools.
Experience in developing SDKs in any programming language(s).
Exposure to software product architecture and testing methodologies

Pay: $28/hour
