Requirements
  • Ability to service HVAC equipment for service work and site maintenance.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested or needed.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles and check their condition and cleanliness.
  • Ability to maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to document jobs, complete paperwork, maintain files, and report daily time, progress, and duration.
  • Ability to determine repair parts and order them according to need and timing.
  • Ability to record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications and provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles by checking their condition and cleanliness.
  • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document work by completing job paperwork, maintaining files, and recording daily time, progress, and duration.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Determine repair parts to order and the timing of need.
  • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Read and interpret product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Travel regularly, with some overnight travel as needed.
