THE WORK:

At Ripple, we are transforming the world of finance with an innovative blockchain solution that increases access to financial services for people around the world. We’re looking for a designer who has a strong brand-focused portfolio, a critical eye for detail, and a desire to learn and share. As a Web Design Intern, you’ll be collaborating with the design team and their partners across marketing and other departments on a variety of projects from branding and web design to maintaining our component library and enhancing our website.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist in designing and maintaining the component library
• Contribute to the development of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for the web
• Help in creating and updating web pages, ensuring they are responsive and accessible
• Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to improve web designs
• Support the design and extension of the brand design system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute designs
• Create graphics and marketing collateral consistent with our brand language
• Express design in diverse ways from brand, interactive, motion, etc

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 

• Portfolio of work featuring strong branding and web design
• Good communicator and team player
• Effective time management
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility best practices
• An eagerness to learn and share with others
• Examples of work in an adjacent field such as motion, 3D, interactive, illustration, typographic design, etc., are a plus
