Requirements

Ability to read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawings.
Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and bills of material.
Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship.
Ability to use pipe wrenches in 10-inch and 18-inch sizes, adjustable wrenches, standard and metric Allen wrench sets, standard and metric socket wrench sets, channel lock pliers, a 3/8-inch drill motor, a tape measure, hose cutters, and a level.
Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

Build, thread, and install pipe headers.
Install service stands, lockout valves, and related piping components.
Pipe robotic systems and sealer equipment.
Prepare and assemble valve packs and manifolds.
Route, install, and dress hoses and tubing to customer specifications.
Drill, tap, and ream holes as required for installation.
Perform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine builds.
Support machine build, installation, and commissioning activities.

Pipefitter Skills & Responsibilities

Build, thread, and install pipe headers
Install service stands, lockout valves, and related piping components
Pipe robotic systems and sealer equipment
Prepare and assemble valve packs and manifolds

Drill, tap, and ream holes as required for installation
Perform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine builds
Utilize hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively
