About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, revenue operations, GTM engineering, or a related B2B SaaS role.
  • Hands-on CRM management or ownership as an administrator or power user, including properties, lifecycle stages, workflows, lists, scoring, and reporting.
  • Experience partnering with product leadership to define positioning and value propositions, and translating individual features into audience-specific messaging deployed across campaigns, lifecycle programs, in-app experiences, and sales enablement.
  • Experience building data enrichment, lead scoring, and routing, including AI or predictive scoring approaches.
  • A track record of designing and running demand-generation experiments with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and documented outcomes.
  • Experience building behavior-triggered lifecycle programs across email and in-app channels.
  • Strong funnel reporting and analytics skills, including defining stages and conversion metrics, building dashboards, and working with data in spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.
  • Clear, concise writing for lifecycle copy, experiment readouts, and leadership summaries.
  • Strong project management and systems thinking, with a habit of documenting work.
  • Ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, Sales, Customer Growth, and leadership and own work end to end.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with product leadership to define and refine positioning and value propositions for each product and major release, grounded in customer, competitive, and market insight.
  • Translate product features and releases into audience-specific messaging for each persona and segment, including the value, proof, and call to action.
  • Execute launches through managed systems, including target segments, lifecycle and nurture workflows, in-app guides, sales sequences, and snippets, with launch tiers matched to release size.
  • Package features into battlecards, talk tracks, and objection handling for Sales and Customer Growth teams, delivered inside the CRM.
  • Manage the CRM as the system of record for marketing and lifecycle, including the data model, custom properties, lifecycle stages, lead status, lists, segments, forms, and workflow automation.
  • Maintain CRM data quality and governance through deduplication, field standards, consistent deal stages across pipelines, and clear documentation.
  • Orchestrate the GTM stack, including CRM, app telemetry, data enrichment, and automation tools, to ensure product, marketing, and sales data flow cleanly between systems.
  • Build and maintain enrichment workflows to close firmographic, contact, and segment data gaps, including vertical-specific sources related to childcare, education, and food program participation.
  • Design, deploy, and continuously tune fit, intent, and product-usage scoring models, using AI and predictive approaches where they outperform rules-based logic.
  • Own lead and account routing rules, handoff service-level agreements, and alerts to Sales and Customer Growth; monitor speed-to-lead and conversion by route.
  • Run a structured demand-generation experimentation program by defining the hypothesis, audience, channel, offer, success metric, and decision rule before launch, then scaling or moving to the next experiment based on results.
  • Build and execute campaigns, nurture tracks, and outbound sequences against enriched, scored segments, partnering with the Digital Marketing Manager on creative and channel execution.
  • Use customer, competitive, and market insight to surface new segments and opportunities to test, and maintain a prioritized backlog and visible results log.
  • Own lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, feature adoption, cross-sell and expansion, renewal, and win-back.
  • Build behavior-triggered journeys combining CRM email and telemetry-driven in-app guides, using product-usage signals rather than calendar cadence alone.
  • Partner with Product and Customer Growth to identify adoption gaps and cross-sell opportunities across the product portfolio, and run programs to address them.
  • Support maintenance of funnel stage definitions and conversion logic from first touch through closed-won, activation, and expansion.
  • Build and own dashboards and recurring funnel reporting for Revenue Operations and leadership, covering pipeline, conversion rates, velocity, channel and campaign performance, and product adoption.
  • Set attribution and experiment measurement standards, and translate results into recommendations on where to invest.
  • In the first 90 days, align with product leadership on priority-product positioning; audit HubSpot data, lifecycle stages, and routing; publish agreed funnel definitions; ship a baseline funnel dashboard; and launch initial experiments.
  • Within 6 months, put enrichment and scoring into operation, route leads to Sales and Customer Growth against defined service-level agreements, run core onboarding and adoption journeys across email and in-app, and ship experiments on a steady cadence with documented results.
  • Within 12 months, execute every feature release through a repeatable launch playbook in the stack, achieve measurable improvement in conversion, speed-to-lead, and product adoption, and provide funnel reporting used by leadership for investment decisions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with vertical SaaS, multi-product portfolios, or marketing to both SMB and enterprise or public-sector buyers.
  • CRM certifications related to Marketing, Sales, or Operations, or hands-on experience with CRM AI and data-enrichment features.
  • Hands-on experience with in-app engagement or product-adoption platforms.
  • Experience with enrichment and GTM automation tools.
  • Technical comfort beyond the user interface, including SQL, APIs and webhooks, or light scripting with JavaScript or Python to connect systems and automate workflows.
  • Experience building AI-powered workflows for research, enrichment, scoring, and content variation.
  • Experience with CACFP, childcare, child nutrition, education, government programs, or other regulated industries is beneficial.

About the company

Valsoft is a company that buys software businesses that serve specific, essential industries (like automotive and broadcasting) and helps them grow over the long term. It focuses on vertical market software—programs that are built for a particular industry—and keeps the acquired companies independent while giving them extra resources, best practices, and access to a global network. The core idea is to improve how these software businesses operate and expand their reach, rather than building new products from scratch. The main way Valsoft works is to purchase a niche software company, streamline its operations, and partner with the existing management team to drive steady growth. This approach sets Valsoft apart from others by emphasizing patient, long-term ownership and collaboration within a diverse portfolio of niche software. The goal is to create durable, profitable companies that continue to serve their essential customers efficiently and expand into new markets.
