  • B.S. and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Good understanding of RF Fundamentals, Radio architectures, RF component and circuit integration into consumer products
  • Working experience with RF measurement equipments such as Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers
  • Must be an excellent communicator, both written and oral
Responsibilities
  • Work on a small design team focused on the integration of multiple wireless technologies into a new Apple product
  • Own their technology from concept through product introduction
  • Includes front-end architecture, and component specification
  • Build and design RF line-up spreadsheets and modeling
  • Perform characterization, design optimization and failure analysis
  • Work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups such as antenna design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering
  • Required international travel to support product development as needed (15%)
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Fluent in one or more connectivity wireless system like WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB or NFC
  • Familiarity with one or more simulation and design tools such as ADS, HFSS or MATLAB
  • Experience with circuit schematic capture/layout
  • Experience in writing basic software routines and test scripts
