Requirements
  • Registered by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible
  • Registered in Abdomen, and/or OB/GYN, Registry eligible upon hire
  • Registered in Vascular or registry eligible within 9 months of hire
  • CPR Certification completed internally
Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of sonographic studies in a variety of settings.
  • Interpret physician instructions, explain ultrasound procedures to patients, adjust imaging parameters and operate ultrasound equipment.
  • Provide and oversee quality diagnostic imaging and patient care services.
  • Be responsible for efficient and effective operation of the daily activities of the Diagnostic Imaging department as directed.
  • Assist lead technologists with execution of the daily operation of the Diagnostic Imaging department.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2 years’ experience performing a variety of US studies (Vascular, OB, General, and Breast) desired
  • 2 years’ experience performing a variety of US procedures (Biopsy, Paracentesis, Clip placement) desired
  • Experience with GE is a plus but not required
