Responsibilities
  • Provide counsel to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives
  • Lead all legal aspects of Uniphore’s IPO planning and execution, including SEC compliance, corporate governance, investor relations, and public market regulations
  • Develop and oversee internal governance policies, ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations (U.S./India and other key markets), privacy laws, and corporate policies
  • Advise on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, evaluating risk factors that could impact the business
  • Manage the company’s IP strategy and patent portfolio, while overseeing key commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, employment law, and real estate leases
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulators, outside counsel, and external partners, ensuring Uniphore’s legal interests are effectively represented
  • Build and lead a high-performing legal and compliance team, ensuring operational excellence as Uniphore scales
