The Procurement Specialist reporting to the Sr. Manager of Procurement will focus on building vendor relationships, time management, and negotiation skills. These efforts aim to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, ultimately contributing to the company’s financial health and operational performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Support market research and cost analysis to ensure spending efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.
- Prepare and present procurement reports.
What success looks like in this role:
- Timely completion of procurement request within stated SLAs.
- Support cost savings targets.
- Working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
- High satisfaction levels from internal customers.
- Efficient resolution of procurement issues.
- Experience developing creative solutions to complex problems
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
- Proficient in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
The target base salary range for this position is $66,500 - $82,100, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
