Summer – App Developer Test Engineer Intern: May to August 2024 @ SharkNinja

*Note: this role is for a Summer (May to August 2024) Internship or post-graduate internship*

Summary:

Contribute to creating robust mobile applications by implementing software tests in various programming languages.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop unit test for business logic and third party API integration.
Create tests to find issues before builds are made.
Use automated build tools such as Jenkins to run tests as a part of CI/CD pipeline.
Utilize XCTest, JUnit, and Jest to write and document tests.
Use data structures and algorithms to create tests for various outcomes.

Education and Experience:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Experience with OOP languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Objective-C, Rust, or C++.
Strong understanding of networking technologies such as HTTP(s), REST, and AWS.
Experience with multi-threaded and concurrency programming using mutexes, channels, semaphores, or messages.

Skills:

Great verbal and written communication to document code and tests.
Ability to quantify test coverage using metrics, graphs, and charts.
Eager to find gaps in logic and articulate them to the team.
Detail oriented with a strong desire to learn the inner workings of a complex system.
Ability to break problems down into testable units.
Problem solver who is always looking for a new challenge.
