Requirements
  • At least 5 years of project or program management experience running cross-functional programs end to end.
  • Experience coordinating across IT, Finance, go-to-market, Legal, and HR, or an equivalent set of functions with competing priorities.
  • Comfort working with technical systems including identity, device management, and core software-as-a-service platforms; configuration experience is not required, but the candidate must be able to follow the work and ask sharp questions.
  • Experience building processes, templates, and structure where none existed.
  • Strong written communication for delivering clear status updates to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • A bias for action and willingness to move work forward rather than perfecting the plan.
  • Agility to adapt when a program changes shape mid-stream and confidence to get hands-on when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Run integrations from close to handoff by owning the integration plan for each acquisition, including scope, sequencing, owners, and dates across every function.
  • Drive the recurring cadence, keep the integration plan current, and complete the handoff on time.
  • Coordinate directly with the acquired company’s general manager and team during their first weeks inside Beacon.
  • Translate between the acquired company’s current operating model and Beacon’s operating model, ensuring responsibilities are assigned clearly.
  • Partner with IT, Security, and systems owners to sequence migrations involving identity, devices, security baselines, and core business systems.
  • Unblock migration work when it stalls.
  • Report progress honestly to leadership, including delayed work, and escalate early with a recommendation.
  • Improve the integration playbook by identifying recurring failures, fixing the relevant steps, and applying improvements to subsequent integrations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-close mergers and acquisitions integration experience, either in-house or in an advisory role.
  • Exposure to identity and access management, mobile device management, or single sign-on rollouts.
  • Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or SOX IT general controls programs.
  • Automation experience.
  • A demonstrated habit of identifying and implementing more efficient ways of working.

Beacon Software acquires stable, profitable vertical-market software companies serving Main Street and holds them indefinitely. It keeps each company independent while offering a centralized platform with playbooks for engineering, sales, and marketing, plus shared AI resources and a dedicated operating partner to drive growth. It differs from traditional private equity by prioritizing long-term ownership, preserving each company’s identity and customer relationships, and leveraging centralized tools to scale niche businesses. The goal is durable, growing software companies that create lasting value for employees, customers, and the communities they serve through centralized expertise and AI.

What believers are saying

  • Beacon closed a $225 million Series C on June 9, 2026, from General Catalyst and HarbourVest.
  • E2E Soccer acquisition on April 16, 2026 deepens Beacon's Canadian soccer platform.
  • Beacon's recurring Main Street software base gives it durable cross-sell and modernization opportunities.

What critics are saying

  • Beacon's June 2026 $225 million Series C demands rapid acquisitions and integration discipline.
  • Acquiring one business weekly invites cultural drift, systems fragmentation, and customer churn.
  • If the AI stack fails to compound, Beacon becomes an expensive rollup with weak margins.

What makes Beacon Software unique

  • Nilam Ganenthiran and Divya Gupta launched Beacon in 2024 with operator-investor credibility.
  • Beacon bought over 30 businesses since 2024, including PowerUp Sports and RealStateAPI.
  • Beacon pairs rollups with a centralized AI operating system, not classic exit-driven PE.

Beacon Software acquires E2E Soccer to create Canada's leading integrated soccer platform

Beacon Software has acquired E2E Soccer Limited, combining it with PowerUp Sports to create Canada's only full-stack soccer technology platform. E2E Soccer, which supported over 100 leagues, 7,500 teams and 120,000 games across Canada in 2025, will merge with PowerUp to offer an integrated solution covering player registration through league competition. The combined platform will streamline registration, roster verification, league scheduling, referee assignment and discipline management. Both E2E Soccer and PowerUp Sports will continue operating under their current brands and leadership, with existing customer contracts and service levels unchanged. Founded in 2024, Beacon Software is an AI-native holding company that acquires and grows companies serving local economies. CEO Nilam Ganenthiran said the merger aims to provide Canadian soccer with integrated technology infrastructure ahead of co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
