Process and manage point-cloud data from terrestrial, drone, and mobile mapping systems.
Process aerial photogrammetry datasets and generate deliverable products.
Support reality-capture workflows using LiDAR, imagery, and survey data.
Assist with GIS data integration, mapping, and geospatial analysis.
Support drone operations, data management, and workflow development.
Create digital terrain models, surfaces, and 3D deliverables.
Assist with Civil 3D modeling and engineering support tasks.
Research and evaluate new technologies, equipment, and software solutions.
Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, GIS professionals, architects, and other design professionals.
Help refine standards, workflows, and best practices for the expanding 3D Practice.
Assist with the development of interactive visualizations and augmented, virtual, or extended-reality experiences.
Desired Qualifications
Three or more years of related professional experience.
Experience working with point clouds, LiDAR, or photogrammetry data.

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification, or willingness to obtain it.

SummaryLamp Rynearson is seeking a Geospatial 3D Technician to support our growing 3D Practice in Omaha. This survey- and geomatics-focused position processes and manages data collected with LiDAR, mobile mapping systems, drones, survey equipment, and other advanced geospatial technologies, while supporting GIS integration and downstream project use.
