About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in SaaS account management or customer success, including direct experience with enterprise or upper mid-market accounts.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding net revenue retention targets in complex account portfolios, including renewals involving procurement and legal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing executive stakeholders through multi-threaded relationships, not only day-to-day customer champions.
  • Rigorous customer relationship management discipline, treating the CRM as a live document.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for meeting preparation, account research, and synthesis.
  • Bilingual French-English ability, written and spoken.
Responsibilities
  • Own the portfolio's most complex, highest-annual-recurring-revenue accounts by building and maintaining quarterly account plans, proactively mapping stakeholders, and developing multi-threaded relationships that withstand customer-side organizational changes.
  • Lead complex renewal negotiations and pricing-migration conversations, exercising judgment about when to hold the commercial line and when flexibility is appropriate, including through procurement and legal processes.
  • Drive expansion based on demonstrated value by using usage data and outcome metrics to build a return-on-investment story customers can articulate, and initiate expansion conversations at six months.
  • Handle executive escalations by documenting clear retention plans, flagging risks proactively, and keeping the internal team aligned when accounts are at risk.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalents daily to prepare for customer conversations, synthesize account data, draft renewal strategies, and work efficiently across a complex portfolio.
  • Model strong account-management practices, including running quarterly plans, preparing executive quarterly business reviews, and navigating difficult objections, to help junior team members develop.
  • Maintain the customer relationship management system as a live document and provide leadership with a reliable, real-time portfolio view, including documented expansion-pipeline next steps and mitigation plans for at-risk accounts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in SaaS human-resources technology, or familiarity with human resources, People Operations, and C-suite buyers.
  • Experience navigating a pricing migration or major packaging change with existing customers.

Workleap launches AI agent for people managers in partnership with Slack

Workleap has launched a Human Capital agent built in partnership with Slack, using Slack's Real-Time Search API and Model Context Protocol. The agent provides people managers with real-time visibility into team performance, engagement and coaching moments by analysing Slack conversations alongside Workleap's existing HR data. The integration allows managers to access team signals from Slack channels and messages, combined with performance goals, engagement insights and historical review data. Slack admins control access permissions, with Workleap only viewing what individual users can already see. The Montreal-based company says the integration enables more accurate performance reviews, sharper engagement insights and faster access to workplace information. The feature is rolling out to all Workleap customers through February 2026, with plans for future AI-assisted actions within Slack workflows.
