Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • A solid grasp of data modeling and what it takes to build analytical work that is reliable and trusted.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence decisions through data storytelling, including pushing back when the data does not support a proposed action.
  • Genuine depth in at least one of data modeling and analytics engineering, experimentation and causal inference, machine learning and applied data science, or product analytics and metric design, with competence across the other areas.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders across Product, Finance, GTM, Growth, and beyond to translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
  • Define the metrics that matter, design experiments or analyses that test them, and measure the impact of shipped work.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on business-critical questions and proactively surface questions that have not yet been asked.
  • Model required data in dbt, pull in new sources when necessary, and partner with data engineering on work that needs to scale beyond the immediate use case.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that scale beyond the individual contributor so the company can answer its own questions where possible.
  • Help shape how the data team operates as it scales, including standards, tooling, and ways of working.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a product-led or SaaS environment, ideally B2B.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Hex, and Dagster.
  • Prior experience as an early data hire at a fast-growing company, having built data capabilities rather than inherited them.

Legora acquires litigation startup Wexler in fifth deal since January

Legora has acquired litigation startup Wexler, whose software helps lawyers reconstruct cases from thousands of documents by tracing statements back to source evidence and identifying conflicts. The acquisition marks Legora's fifth since January as it competes with rival Harvey to dominate the law firm market. London-based Wexler had raised $7 million and secured clients including HSF Kramer, Goodwin Procter, and Clifford Chance. The company claims its software cuts manual document review time by 75 per cent. Wexler cofounder Gregory Mostyn said the startup wasn't seeking a sale but chose to join Legora's platform of over 1,500 customers. Legora was valued at $5.5 billion in March, whilst Harvey is worth $11 billion. The deal reflects consolidation in legal tech as law firms select long-term software partners following years of testing chatbots and other tools.

Ally Law partners with Legora to accelerate AI adoption across 80-firm global network

Legora to open Paris, Milan and Madrid offices as Swedish AI legaltech eyes 700-strong EMEA workforce

Legora, a Swedish AI legaltech startup valued at $5.6 billion, is opening offices in Paris, Milan and Madrid in Q3 whilst establishing an engineering hub in London. The company plans to grow its EMEA headcount from just over 300 to more than 700 over the next 12 months. The expansion aims to bring the company closer to customers in key European markets.
