Backend Developer
About the job
- Hands-on experience building scalable applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with backend technologies including Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub-based version control workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Storage buckets, networking, and Redis/MemoryStore.
- Build backend services using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Containerize applications using Docker and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate within a GitHub-based workflow using version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Optionally contribute to frontend development using TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js.
- Experience with Celery or background job processing.
- Experience with Databricks or data engineering and analytics platforms.
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks and full-stack development.
- A DevOps mindset and familiarity with cloud infrastructure best practices.
