  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with company standards, photocopying all fine jewelry and reconciling purchase-order issues with the buying office.
  • Ensure all merchandise is entered into the case count system after it has been received.
  • Retrieve and process merchandise to be returned to the vendor or transferred in accordance with company standards, properly packing merchandise and retrieving a tracking number for all outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a repair log, check merchandise in and out, and track repairs sent to the vendor or local shop.
  • Submit repair invoices with proper documentation to Accounts Payable.
  • Receive merchandise for trunk shows and verify the number and condition of pieces against the manifest list.
  • Assist with trunk-show setup and takedown, compile results, and recap trunk-show business.
  • Ensure case counts are completed and all discrepancies are reconciled.
  • Reticket merchandise without tickets, including returns and merchandise with non-readable tags.
  • Prepare special-order requests and submit them to buyers.
  • Assist the Selling Manager and associates on the selling floor as necessary.
  • Ensure the department is stocked with supplies.
  • Perform other store initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
