Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing Tier 2 retail and building supply customers.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and leverage financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to prospect, identify opportunities, and convert them into long-term business relationships.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using customer relationship management systems.
  • Fluency in both English and French, orally and in writing, is required.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work to support customer and industry events.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, deadlines, and business demands.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, buying groups, and dealer networks.
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities to expand product penetration.
  • Generate new business and competitive conversion opportunities within the territory.
  • Achieve or exceed sales, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Atlantic Canada sales agency to maximize market coverage and customer engagement.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver product knowledge and sales training to customers and dealer associates.
  • Execute merchandising programs, planograms, product displays, and promotional initiatives.
  • Support trade shows, grand openings, store events, and customer promotions.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics using customer relationship management tools.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.
