- Analyze property valuations, appraisals, budgets, and collateral to determine appropriate loan structures.
- Review borrower documentation, entity structures, and supporting financial information.
- Identify potential risks, resolve exceptions, and recommend appropriate credit decisions.
- Collaborate with Loan Advisors and operations to move qualified loans efficiently from application to closing.
- Ensure loans meet internal credit policies and applicable investor and capital partner guidelines.
- Use proprietary technology and underwriting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in underwriting processes, credit policies, and risk management.
- Familiarity with business-purpose residential investment loans, including fix-and-flip, ground-up construction, or debt-service coverage ratio financing.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
