FTI Consulting has appointed Christina Morris as a Senior Managing Director in its Healthcare Risk Management & Advisory practice. Based in Washington, D.C., Morris brings over 25 years of experience helping pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations modernise risk, regulatory compliance and quality operations through technology-enabled transformation. In her new role, Morris will work with clients to assess and modernise complex business processes using automation, data, AI and business process management. Her focus will be on strengthening compliance, reducing operational risk and improving audit readiness. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Morris was a Managing Director at a Big Four firm, where she led technology-driven business transformation initiatives focusing on AI, GenAI and hyperautomation. She has also held senior positions at Hoverstate, FrontierBPM and EY.
FTI Consulting has appointed four managing directors to expand its turnaround and restructuring capabilities across the UK. James Bulloss joins from PwC with over 18 years' experience in restructurings and insolvencies. Kasey Lin arrives from Houlihan Lokey, bringing expertise in cross-border restructurings. Theo Kitsanelis, previously at Seabury Capital, will join the aviation practice. Matthew Mansell-Ahmed comes from Teneo with tax structuring expertise. The appointments form part of FTI Consulting's continued investment in its UK restructuring practice, following recent hires in London and Leeds. Matt Callaghan, head of UK turnaround and restructuring, said the new hires would enable the firm to deploy broader expertise on mandates across the country.
FTI Consulting reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $2.16 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.09 by 3.4%. Earnings rose 1.4% year over year, whilst revenues increased 5.3%. Despite the earnings beat, FCN shares declined 4.1% following the 30 July release. The stock has fallen 6.4% over the past year. Net income dropped 19.4% to $57.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA fell 6.4% to $104.5 million as higher direct costs and SG&A expenses offset revenue growth. The adjusted EBITDA margin contracted 130 basis points to 10.5%. Corporate Finance revenues grew 8.5% to $411.4 million, driven by higher bill rates and increased transformation demand. Billable headcount across the firm increased 3.2%.
FTI Consulting reported second-quarter revenue of $993.5 million, up 5.3% year-on-year and in line with Wall Street expectations. However, non-GAAP earnings of $1.99 per share missed analyst estimates by 11.9%. The business advisory firm attributed weaker profitability to higher selling, general, and administrative expenses, including one-time legal and compensation costs. Operating margin declined to 8.6% from 10.5% in the prior-year quarter. CEO Steven Gunby noted strong performance in Spain and Germany but cited challenges in the Middle East and UK. The company reconfirmed full-year revenue guidance of $4.02 billion whilst raising adjusted earnings per share guidance to $9.40 at the midpoint. CFO Angela Nam expects SG&A expenses to decrease in the second half, with improved profitability from investments in senior talent and growth in Economic Consulting and Technology segments.
FTI Consulting reported record second quarter 2026 revenues of $993.5 million, up 5.3% from $943.7 million in the prior year quarter. The increase was primarily driven by revenue growth in the Corporate Finance, Technology and Forensic and Litigation Consulting segments. The company's second quarter EPS was $1.99, down from $2.13 in the prior year quarter. Adjusted EPS reached $2.16, compared to $2.13 a year earlier. Net income decreased to $57.8 million from $71.7 million, primarily due to higher direct costs and expenses. FTI Consulting reaffirmed its revenue guidance and updated its EPS guidance range to between $8.70 and $9.30, introducing an adjusted EPS guidance range of between $9.10 and $9.70.
