Job Summary:

This position will include research, clinical care, and teaching. There will be 45% academic time, and 55% for clinical care. Clinical care will include patient care at Yahara Integrative Family Medicine Clinic (30%) and/or Science Drive Medical Center (10%). Duties will also include Wingra Clinic consults (5%) and Precepting (10%) as Fellowship Director determines.

This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Terminal, 12 month appointment (depending on program)

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) at the University of Wisconsin is a leading clinical department within the School of Medicine and Public Health. Compensation:

This position is compensated at a candidate's respective post graduate experience level, starting at $70,685 for PG1. Pay will include a $500 well-being stipend at all levels of experience.

• WI medical license by the start date of the position.
• Applicants must have completed residency in family medicine or medicine/pediatrics with adequate primary care experience

• Three Letters of Recommendation. Have your letter writers or a third party such as a program coordinator send three letters of recommendation directly to fellowship coordinator Christina Swords ([email protected]) and Denise Hix ([email protected]). One must be from your current program director (or current supervisor if in practice).

University sponsorship is not available for this position, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas. The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring their continuous eligibility to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment. This position is currently scheduled to end 12 months from the start date and will require eligibility to work for the full duration of the appointment. If you are selected for this position, you must provide proof of work authorization and eligibility to work.
