Requirements
  • At least 2 years of YouTube video editing experience, including the ability to independently handle complex editing challenges across various software platforms.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Premiere suite.
  • Experience editing both long-form videos and short videos for social media.
  • Experience creating animations in videos.
  • Intensive use of artificial intelligence in the video-editing workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Produce one authoritative educational face-camera video monthly for David Laroche FR, embedding music, animations, and B-roll to simplify complex ideas and captivate audiences.
  • Edit two celebrity or expert interviews monthly for Paradox Sans Filtre and one CEO or expert interview monthly for Paradox Business, focusing on smooth audio mixes and multicamera video.
  • Craft Hollywood-style trailers for each interview.
  • Use artificial-intelligence-assisted editing tools, including auto-transcription, rough-cut assembly, and AI captioning or B-roll, to speed up production and suggest new tools and workflows.
  • Drive brainstorming sessions and bring original ideas to guide the editing style of each channel while maintaining its distinct identity.
  • Follow specific standards and checklists to deliver Netflix- or cinema-level quality.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and After Effects.
  • Motion design skills or a desire to refine motion design skills further.
