Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience performing Federal Government financial management.
  • Ability to conceptualize and write technical materials.
  • Knowledge of life-cycle costs and other acquisition documents.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Research skills.
  • Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Defense Health Agency's acquisition support and financial management engagement.
  • Assist in selecting appropriate acquisition strategies.
  • Assist in developing acquisition materials, including approval documentation, briefings, and solicitation documents.
  • Prepare Purchase Requests, briefs, and acquisition strategy documents.
  • Analyze acquisition requirements and coordinate required actions throughout the Defense Health Agency.
  • Identify current best practices for developing Performance Work Statements and performance-based acquisition.
